Jerry, Chris & Bagel put on a great show at Rancho Nicasio September 28th 2007. The new hit single "Society" is getting great reviews from all over the world. Have you checked out the movie, Into the Wild? It's more than a great movie, it's a true story.
Jerry's next gig with Chris Haugen is at Oct. 11 this Thursday at 19 Broadway in Fairfax, 9:30pm. Come hear our new songs and super sound of Chris' slide accoustic weisenborn. -what the hell is a weisenborn? . ...catch the buzzz!
Hey, Jer, this blog is useful because there's so much to type.
Like: Yesterday I explained to my baby sister from back east, who has your music as presents from me, how I heard you play a new song I'd never heard before, referring of course to "Society", out at Rancho Nicasio last spring and about how I'd heard it three times total since & before Aug., 2007... then I actually sing it for her into the phone the way it was performed in Into the Wild, in my best rendition of Eddie's low, low voice,(and now all my sibs from back east are going out to see the movie), and then I try to describe in spoken words how it sounded when you covered it yourself last Thursday nite at 19 Broadway, and then how you covered Born To Run, by Bruce. all my far away family now know my 2nd favorite performance of music ever, next to seeing Tommy, live by The Who in 1970, was your own cover last Thursday of Society....my fav version to date.

Seeing you at Rancho Nicasio was the highlight of my 2007! What a way to bring in my new year, this trip around the sun should be nothing short of amazing. Thank you for the birthday shout out! I loved meeting you and dancing the night away. I was thrilled to hear you sing Society and Hallelujah, and of course, Dysfunctional Guy. This is my first FONA, "Fans of the Night Award." Is that anything like being a JT Sizzler of the Week?

Great hanging out with you during the "Birthday Week"
2008 is your year...Great seeing Troy, Chris and everybody. What made the Friday night the Best was when at San Rafael Joe's you borrowed Tommy's guitar, got on stage and did a EPIC rendition of Society. Everybody was in awe. Looking forward to the new record...this will be the one!!
